Sequencing rules (latter rules override earlier rules)
  • All the animations can happen in any random order.
  • None of the animations besides rubik's can happen more than once in a row; the rubik's one happens at least once every 3 turns.
  • All animations besides reset must be hit at least once every 10 turns.
  • The first animation can never be the reset animation.
  • The reset animation happens at most once every 10 steps.
  • The rotate animation never happens twice in a row.
  • The cube stays facing a single face for at most one animation turn (then a rotate must carry it away).
  • The rotate animation never rotates from a face to another face, but sometimes rotates from a corner to a face.
  • The rotate animation always lands the cube either at 45/45/45 with a corner pointing straight up on screen, or facing a face head-on — parallel with the window axes or at a 45° angle.
  • The rotate animation happens at most once every 4 turns — except while the cube is facing a face.
  • The reset animation happens at most once every 13 turns.
  • The reset animation is never one of the first 13 (the reset spacing threshold) animations.
  • None of the animations besides rubik's can occur more than 1 time in 3 turns (the forced face-escape rotate is exempt, as above).
